Well done to our Stamford Team for all their hard work to achieve this, we now have a very happy independent client!
From helping you start your day with a wash, shower or bath, helping you to dress and staying with you while you eat your breakfast, through to helping make sure you take the correct daily medication, right through to helping you get back in to bed at night, we can provide highly tailored personal care for you. And we do it with respect and dignity. This is very important and a core part of our driving values.
Plus, we can provide ‘double up’ care if needed. By sending two Support Assistant to visit you, we can provide an extra level of care or help with mobility, if needed due to your health or situation. Our team is fully trained in all aspects of personal care, including the use of hoists and other specialist equipment.
People have different needs, which is why we offer a flexible service to suit your exact requirements.
Usually a breakfast, lunchtime and/or early evening visit for food preparation – including medication and/or toileting. Also bed calls at night to assist with getting ready for, and into, bed.
Usually a morning call for personal care activities, medication, food preparation, washing up and tidying.
Customers with more complex needs can have visits tailored to their exact requirements, from extended morning attendance to sleep-in and waking-night support.
90 minutes – 24 hours
For customers with greater needs, these visits can be at either end of the day, or both and will include personal care and some practical duties. In some cases, more than one Support Assistant will be allocated depending on the level of care provision. Please see ‘live in care’ (below) to find out more about this service.
We’re proud to provide highly experienced, qualified Support Assistants who will ‘live in’ with you, providing around the clock care for your loved one.
Our excellent live-in care service means you will have the assurance of 24 hour care and support in the comfort of your own home, without the need for a care home.
Plus, we’ll find someone that has the same interests, or has the experience to share the time together without it being too formal.
Here are just some of the benefits of live-in care:
There is no major change or disruption to usual surroundings or routine. The live-in Support Assistant will adapt to fit into usual life style, providing care, companionship and support every day of the year.
The live-in Support Assistant really gets to know you and can support you to live an independent life with respect and dignity.
Full around the clock care can be supported, giving you peace of mind that you’re safe, being cared for by a fully trained and compassionate longstanding member of our team.
We can offer a range of support, from helping you to get up, washed and dressed, through to light domestic work to keep your home clean and tidy, and support on daily errands such as picking up the newspaper or daily medication.
We believe that your care plans should be reflective of your needs. As your needs evolve, we’ll work together to update your care plan to suits those needs. It’s all about what you would like and not just what you need. That’s why we review your care plans with you regularly.
