Well, Bloomsbury Home Care was established in 2008, and our Chief Executive, Nick Christodoulou, has, and continues, to make it his mission to ensure adults, of all abilities, are offered access to private homecare support in the community.

 

Nick has been involved in the care industry for many years. In fact, he started his first care company, Primrose Care, back in 1992 and sold the company to BUPA in 1999. Fast forward to 2024, and with his persistence and continuing growth plans, Nick has become a renowned advocate in the homecare industry. A huge difference that Nick is very proud of, is that, compared to Primrose Care, Bloomsbury Home Care operates on a 'small team structure' basis, which has shown to be far more effective to, not just the support teams, but clients, too.

 

Beyond work, Nick, of course, has quite a lively life as well. He's a doting father of one, a lover of sport - particularly rugby, and can easily unwind with some good music. Nick is also a chartered accountant .. so we know he gets his numbers right! We've also heard he quite enjoys some literature, too!

Here, at Bloomsbury Home Care, we provide personal care, domestic assistance, and social support, to adults with varying abilities. We operate throughout Essex, Suffolk, Lincolnshire, and Cambridgeshire, all led by Regional Managers who have their own vast experience within the care industry, too. Over the years we have retained many employees that have 'climbed the ladder' so to speak, and now lead their own teams, or even their own branches!

 

More so, all our branches have been rated GOOD by The Care Quality Commission - so a huge thumbs up, and thanks, go out to our fantastic teams!​​
